Are you syncing your facebook contact information with your iPhone contacts?  It might be very helpful; in addition to adding pictures to each of your contacts, it will sync their birthdays and their facebook URL's to their contact information.  Additional email addresses and phone numbers will also be added to your iPhone contacts.
